Barkio brings you exciting new features that make monitoring your dog smarter and more insightful than ever before. With AI-powered barking recognition and an enhanced Activity log, you’ll always know what matters most about your dog’s day.
AI Barking detection
We’re introducing AI Barking detection – a breakthrough feature that can distinguish real barking from everyday noise. Unlike standard noise detection, which picks up all sounds, AI Barking detection alerts you only when your dog barks.
You can even adjust your preferences — for example, receive alerts only for barking while muting general noise. Every barking event is recorded in the Activity log, giving you a complete overview of how often and how long your dog was barking.
📱 Currently available on iOS, with Android support coming soon.
- Turn on/off Barking detection: Go to Menu → Settings → Barking detection → On/Off
- Turn on notifications when barking: Go to Menu → Notifications → Switch on "When barking"

Improved Activity log
Redesigned Activity log that transforms raw monitoring into insights dog parents can actually use.
- Time-of-day color (morning / afternoon / evening / night) gives instant context to every session.
- Per-session statistics automatically track rest, noise, movement and barking. These metrics help you spot stress or separation-anxiety patterns, monitor recovery after surgery, and understand age-related changes over time.
- Longer video and audio recordings in the Activity log — added directly based on user requests.
