But now, we’re taking monitoring to an entirely new level. Coming soon, Barkio will introduce AI Barking detection – a breakthrough feature that distinguishes real barking from everyday noise.

Until now, noise detection picked up everything: your dog running around the house, doors closing, or the sounds of traffic outside. Helpful, but often overwhelming. With AI Barking detection, Barkio goes beyond simple sound recognition. It knows exactly when your dog is barking – and alerts you only then. This means fewer false alarms and notifications that truly matter.

Insights into your dog’s behavior

Every barking event will be recorded in the Activity Log, giving you a complete overview of your dog’s day. You will see how often and how long your pup was barking, spot patterns, and track improvements over time. For dog parents addressing separation anxiety or excessive barking, this data is invaluable.

Effortless setup

Activating AI Barking detection will be quick and simple in Barkio’s settings. Once enabled, you can adjust your notifications — for example, receive alerts only for barking while muting other noises, or keep both active for complete coverage.
