With Barkio, we hope to help dog owners stay in touch with their dogs whenever you need to leave your pooch home alone. Since we want the app to be available and accessible to anyone, we’re now happy to announce that Barkio is now localized into 14 different languages.
By providing the app for all five major platforms (iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and Linux) and in 14 different languages, we hope to make the app available and helpful to any pet parent. You can monitor your dog from work using your laptop or from your phone when running errands.
All translations were done by professionals and revised several times, but make sure to reach out to us should you find anything that doesn’t make sense or could be translated better.
Barkio is a dog monitoring app for phones, tablets, and newly for desktop. The app was created with a straightforward goal — to help pet parents keep an eye on their dogs and communicate with them remotely.
Barkio comes in handy whenever you need to leave your dog alone for a couple of hours (going to work, running errands, etc.).
All you need are two devices (phones, tablets, or laptops), internet connection, and the Barkio app. You can download and try Barkio for free on any platform.
One device stays at home with your dog (e.g., tablet). The second device is yours (e.g., a phone or a laptop). From that device, you can connect and check on your dog at any time you need.
With Barkio, you’ll be able to hear and watch a video of your dog in real-time. Moreover, you can communicate with your dog remotely as well. You can talk to your dog live and calm it down, use prerecorded voice messages, or even stream a video of yourself on the dog’s device.
