How to work with the Activity log

The Activity log is a timeline of past monitorings with audio and video recordings. It's a powerful tool that can help you to track dog behaviour, capture special moments and share information with family, friends or vet.

1 Tap on the clock icon
You will see a list of all your previous monitoring sessions. Sessions are visually distinguished based on the time of day when the monitoring started, making it easier to navigate through your history without having to check the exact times.
2 Tap on the specific session
See the start and end time of your session, statistics, as well as a list of all events. These insights help you better understand your dog’s rest, activity, and vocal behavior, making it easier to spot unusual patterns and track changes over time.
The app will automatically take a photo or record a video of every event, giving you a great overview of what happened in the past. In the Settings you can choose what type of media should be taken.
To listen to an audio recording of a specific event, tap on the play button. To view a video recording, tap on the video thumbnail.
Share the Activity log
You can easily share the Activity log with another family member to show some funny and cute moments, or a veterinarian to discuss your dog's behaviour and health issues.
- Share whole monitoring session: Open monitoring session in Activity log and tap the Sharing icon. The app automatically creates a link which will be available for 90 days or until you turn off the sharing by yourself.
- Share specific photo or video: The second option is to share only selected moments. Choose picture/video and click on the sharing icon.
Export the Activity log to CSV
Export allows you to work further with the data and monitor your dog's behaviour over time. Does your dog bark at the same time every day? There is probably some outside influence such as a mailman or another dog walking outside.
To export the Activity log, simply log in on Barkio website, go to the Activity log screen and tap on the three dots in the top right corner. Select "Export to CSV" and then choose the location where you want to save the file.
